Park and Pool District

The Village of Powhatan Point is proud to offer a public park, swimming pool, and splash pad for residents, families, and visitors to enjoy throughout the warmer months. The Park and Pool District provides a welcoming outdoor space for recreation, relaxation, community gatherings, and family fun.

The facility includes a full-size swimming pool with a 10-foot deep end and two diving boards, along with a 3,000-square-foot splash pad featuring seven water features for children of all ages. The park also offers basketball courts, playground equipment, open green space, swings, slides, and a large pavilion with lighting and restroom access.

The pavilion and pool facilities are available for rentals, including family gatherings, birthday parties, reunions, and community events. Rental forms, pool rules, employment applications, and additional information are available through the Park and Pool District.

Marina

Located off of Mellott Street on Captina Creek, the Powhatan Point Marina gives residents and visitors convenient access to one of the area’s greatest natural and recreational resources. Whether you enjoy boating, fishing, or simply spending time near the water, the marina helps connect the community to the riverfront.

The marina offers a practical access point for boaters and provides a scenic setting for enjoying the water. Its location near the Ohio River makes it a valuable part of Powhatan Point’s recreation offerings and a reminder of the Village’s strong connection to the river.
